Ashley is a clinical psychologist who works with young people and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, and exhausted by constant worry. If you often feel switched “on” all the time or stuck in patterns of self-doubt and self-criticism, Ashley provides practical, evidence-based therapy to help you understand what’s happening in your mind and body, and most importantly, how to respond differently.

Her clients often come to therapy wanting to

  • Feel calmer and more in control of their racing thoughts
  • Reduce overthinking and constant replaying of scenarios in their mind
  • Stop procrastinating due to stress
  • Feel less anxious in social, school or work settings
  • Quiet their inner critic and ease perfectionistic pressure
  • Build confidence and emotional resilience

She provides therapy for individuals navigating anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, stress management difficulties, and emotion regulation challenges. Ashley has a particular interest in supporting people who struggle with perfectionism, high personal standards, and a strong inner critic – especially when these patterns lead to burnout, avoidance, or chronic stress. Her approach is also suited to high performing adolescents who struggling under academic or social pressure.

Ashley also works with individuals who have been diagnosed as neurodivergent later in life and are seeking support to better understand their diagnosis, manage overwhelm, and integrate this new understanding into their identity with clarity and self-compassion.

Ashley draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual, combining practical tools with deeper insight work. Therapy is about helping you develop the skills and confidence to handle stress and feel more grounded in your daily life.

Above all, Ashley aims to create a warm and authentic non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to be honest about what’s really going on. Over time, clients notice that they spend less time stuck in overthinking and paralysed by anxiety, respond to stress with greater steadiness, speak to themselves with more compassion, and feel more confident in navigating their work, school and relationships. Ashley works alongside you to help you better understand your patterns, develop practical strategies, and create sustainable change that feels aligned with who you are.
