Ashley is a Clinical Psychologist who works with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, stress, and perfectionism.

Many of the young people Ashley supports are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or weighed down by pressure and self-doubt. She works with teenagers and young adults navigating school or university stress, social anxiety, burnout, and the sense of never quite being able to switch off.
Ashley has a particular interest in helping people who place high expectations on themselves or struggle with perfectionism and a harsh inner critic. She understands how anxiety doesn’t always look obvious, it can show up as overworking, procrastination, irritability, or constantly second-guessing yourself.

She also supports adolescents and young adults who have been recently diagnosed with ADHD or autism and are adjusting to what this means for their identity, relationships, and day-to-day life. This often overlaps with anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling different or misunderstood, and Ashley works collaboratively to help clients better understand themselves and develop practical ways to cope.

Ashley takes a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to therapy. She focuses on creating a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and not judged. She works at a pace that feels right for each person, whether that means building practical strategies early on or taking time to explore patterns more deeply.

Her work focuses on helping clients:

  • manage overthinking and worry
  • reduce avoidance and build confidence
  • navigate stress and emotional overwhelm
  • develop a more balanced and compassionate relationship with themselves

Ashley draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual.

She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across both public and private settings.

Ashley offers both in-person sessions on the Northern Beaches and telehealth appointments.

Ashley accepts clients privately funded clients and people referred under Medicare on a Mental Health Care Plan. She does not provide NDIS funded services.
