Karen is a psychologist who is passionate about supporting people as they navigate health challenges, life transitions, and changes in wellbeing.
Drawing on her background in nursing and psychology, Karen works with individuals adjusting to illness, managing chronic health conditions, coping with medication changes, and navigating the emotional impact that health concerns can have on daily life, relationships, identity, and confidence.
While she has a particular interest in supporting people living with conditions such as endometriosis, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and other chronic or complex health concerns, her work is not limited to any specific diagnosis. Karen believes that every person’s experience is unique and focuses on understanding the individual rather than simply the condition.
Karen is also passionate about supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, helping them make sense of physical, emotional, and psychological changes while developing practical strategies to maintain wellbeing and quality of life.
Additionally, Karen has an interest in disordered eating and has experience in helping people across a wide range of disordered eating and body image issues. She is a member of ANZAED and is an eating disorder credentialed psychologist.
Karen brings a holistic perspective that combines evidence-informed psychological approaches with her nursing knowledge and experience. Her goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to adapt, cope, and thrive.
